By late 2015, the Donmar’s key modern Shakespeare reinterpretations of the period—especially the Lloyd women’s-prison series (Julius Caesar and Henry IV) and the star-led Coriolanus—had established a recognizable approach: strong concepts, contemporary resonance, and close actor-audience connection.
