Modern humans enter southeastern Europe

At Bacho Kiro Cave (Bulgaria), directly dated human remains show very early modern human presence alongside “Initial Upper Paleolithic” stone tools and personal ornaments. This sets the starting point for later Upper Paleolithic technocomplexes across Europe.
