Popper publishes *Logik der Forschung*
Labels: Karl Popper, Logik derKarl Popper’s Logik der Forschung (later known in English as The Logic of Scientific Discovery) sets out falsifiability as a proposed boundary between science and non-science. Instead of trying to “verify” big universal laws, Popper argues that good scientific theories take risks by making predictions that could, in principle, be shown false. This book becomes the starting point for decades of debate about how science really works in practice.
